It’s a snow-filled new year, and as the decorations go back to their hiding spots we begin to plan the year ahead. Putting the colorful holiday ornaments away is always sort of hard for me, and I especially miss the soft glow of the tree come mid-January. But the decorations– many of which are older than I, never lose their sentiment. Even more significant are the ones I decorated by hand for family, pets, me :), etc. But I look forward to the glitzy lights and shining baubles that fill my heart with inexplicable happiness. A happiness derived from their existence–even though I know materials shouldn’t matter too much. I can’t help but love them, each and every one. Happy New Year!
Materials: Small bauble, white paint pen, ample drying time & a steady hand 🙂
