I recently discovered the art of embossing- and just in time for the Christmas season. So this year I decided to create all my Christmas cards using this technique. I think the card recipients will be quite pleased with the handmade cards they will be getting in the mail.
Using a white background, red & green (and gold/silver) really stand out on this easy- yet pretty Christmas card. I embossed the sentiment in gold powder, then added the crimpy paper strips and metallic marker details. This card design really dances around the greeting and the tiny dots add interest all throughout.
Materials: white & red cardstock, metallic (or regular markers), stamp , clear ink, gold embossing powder, heat tool, paper cutter/scissors, crimpy cutter (or do by hand), glue runner or glue
