Wonderful craft supplies are found in nature- sometimes literally growing on trees. Items like pinecones can even be gathered in the fall and stored for later craft projects. Pinecones have unique structures that make them excellent canvases for countless creations. Glittered, glazed, painted or plain, pinecones go with anything.
I chose to paint these pinecones blue and white for a wintry look. I used acrylic paint that I already had. (2-3 coats paint- bleached pinecones prior to painting) Materials: pinecones, acrylic paints, paintbrush, paint palette, water, paint mixer, paper towel.
